# Frameworks & Targets

What each framework and target option does, and how to adapt the bridge.

## Frameworks

There is nothing to set. The framework is detected from the resources that are running when `kossek_squash` starts.

| | ESX | QBCore | QBX | Standalone |
| ---------------------------------------------- | -------------- | -------------- | -------------- | ----------- |
| Names on the scoreboard | Character name | Character name | Character name | Player name |
| Stats kept under | ESX identifier | citizenid | citizenid | license |
| Wagers | Yes | Yes | Yes | No |
| Going back to the character list ends the game | Yes | Yes | Yes | - |

The bridges are written against es\_extended 1.9.4 and 1.15, qb-core 1.3.0 and qbx\_core 1.24.

Restarting your framework while the server runs is fine: the bridge follows the new one.

## Targets

`Config.Target` sets how players open the squash panel in the middle of the court.

| Value | What it does |
| ------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `'auto'` | ox\_target if it runs, otherwise qb-target, otherwise the E prompt. The default. |
| `'ox_target'` | Always ox\_target. |
| `'qb_target'` | Always qb-target. |
| `'helptext'` | Always the E prompt, with a marker on the floor. |

A target named there that is not running leaves the E prompt and a warning in the console. While a target resource is stopped or restarting, the E prompt takes its place.

The look of the E prompt and its marker is set with `Config.Prompt`, see [Configuration](/docs/scripts/squash/configuration.md).

## Adapting the bridge

The `bridge/` folder is not encrypted:

* `bridge/framework/<name>/server.lua` - player names, identifiers and money for each framework
* `bridge/target/` - the target option for ox\_target and qb-target

Another framework version, or a framework that is not on the list, is a few lines to adapt there.
